PUPILS from Locking Primary School enjoyed a day of Egyptian experiences with their parents.

The youngsters from years three and four dressed up in traditional outfits, made pyramids and learned all about Egypt as part of a cultural project.

In the afternoon, they invited the parents along and cooked traditional Egyptian food, performed a play for them and taught them all about the culture.

Headteacher Joanne Jones said: “We all had a really fantastic time. The children and the parents learned a lot.”
