WESTON College A-level drama and theatre students saw Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew brought to life on a two-day visit to Stratford-upon-Avon.
As well as watching the 400-year-old romantic comedy the 12 students visited Shakespeare’s home and enjoyed a special workshop to understand the drama’s complex details.
Business and creative arts lecturer, Alexandra Sermon, said: “The trip was a wonderful way to help study the syllabus. The combination of play and workshop brought their studies to life and was very useful.”
Student Catherine Murphy, aged 16, of Weston, said: “I had a really good time, the location was beautiful and we learnt a lot. I would love to go again.”
