A DIAMOND jubilee quiz and prize bingo was the entertainment as Hans Price Academy students laid on a day of fun for members of the Pensioners’ Lunch Club on May 18.

Year nine students from the school volunteered to serve lunches to members of the club at the Healthy Living Centre in Lonsdale Avenue.

They also played a mixture of current and older music at the event, which was run in partnership with I AM…, a local educational social enterprise. It is part of a six week programme of events which has seen students developing their team-building skills, confidence and motivation through a number of different projects.
