STUDENTS at The Kings of Wessex Academy were visited by professional artists on the weekend to lead a workshop on creative printing.

The A-level artists spent the day etching and rolling to create prints inspired by the students’ own paintings and photographs.

Even teachers got involved, picking up a skill to use with other art students in future.

Lorna Mortimer, of the Kings and Queens news team, said: “The day went quickly and soon all that was left were some beautiful prints.

“It was a very enjoyable and creative day for all and everyone produced a good body of work for their ‘A’ Level course.”
