YEAR 12 students from The Kings of Wessex Academy visited the Welsh valleys last week to find a ‘writing refuge’ and get inspired to play with prose.
Halfway up Crug Hywel in the Black Mountains they learned about key aspects of writing as well as took a tour of the beautiful scenery.
English students also visited Llangorse to study different types of language found there.
They even went to give a talk to local primary school children, which according to the school’s news team, Lorna Mortimer and Jamie Strawbridge, was the highlight of the trip.
