STUDENTS from Worle Community School attended an awards ceremony on Weston-super-Mare’s Grand Pier.

The event took place on October 14 and 15 and saw students presented with awards for sporting achievements and academic success.

Parents and carers attended the ceremony and were welcomed by the school’s head boy and girl, Ryan Burrisson and Bethany Hall, and deputy head boy and girl, Aniraj Sapra and Holly Wadsworth.

Worle’s headteacher Peter Binding said: “We would like to congratulate all our award winners on the progress they have made and would also like to thank parents and carers for their continued support and encouragement.”
