After a four-year hiatus, Hutton Primary School’s summer fair made a welcome return at the weekend.

The fair, which was held at the school in Church Lane on Saturday, was organised by the parents, teachers and friends association to raise money for classroom resources.

Luckily the sun shone throughout the day and visitors enjoyed a range of activities including a coconut shy, face-painting and a tombola.

Grown-ups could also enjoy a tipple at the bar, which served cider, prosecco and fruit punch, as well as some extra indulgence in the form of cakes served by Made In Hutton, cream teas provided by St Mary’s Church and a barbecue.
