Pupils at Sandford Primary School tucked into tasty tea and treats for some good causes.

Children in years five and six hosted the Cake And Tea At Quarter To Three event to raise money for a number of school events, such as the hiring of limousines in July for year six leavers. The afternoon included a cake sale and a bric-a-brac stall in the playground.

Year six pupils Lauren Tyrrell and Eoin Austen said: “The cakes were awesome and enjoyed by all. The amount of donations was also outstanding and the bric-a-brac stall turned out to be a great addition to the occasion.

“It was a great success and even better as it was dry, so we could run our stalls outside in the sunshine.”
