ENERGETIC kids got grooving and showed off their funky moves in an attempt to break a world record.
As part of the national School Sport Dance event, to support activities in schools, a ‘dance-a-thon’ was held at Axbridge First School and at other schools across the UK.
At 11.40am on January 19 the children took part in a carefully choreographed routine at the exact same time as thousands of other pupils.
They have not yet found out if they have broken the world record for the amount of people dancing at the same time but they are tipped to have been successful.
