A GLITTERING ceremony was held to present a top business award to Weston College.
The honour was part of the National Training Awards 2010 and celebrates organisations and individuals who have achieved outstanding success through investment in training.
The college fought off strong competition to succeed in the partnership and collaboration category for delivering training in the logistics sector with its partner Somax Ltd.
The team attended an awards ceremony in Bristol where they received their trophy.
Principal and chief executive at Weston College, Dr Paul Phillips, said: “Weston was the only college to reach the South West regional finals of the awards so this recognition is a superb result not just for the Business Enterprise Centre, but for the entire college.”
