WESTON'S Toy Library has been given a fresh lease of life thanks to a local charity.

Springboard Opportunity Group has taken on the running of the library, in Locking Road, and relaunched it with an event on Saturday.

The charity, which supports pre-school children with disabilities and additional needs, has refurbished the library and replenished its stock of toys for hundreds more youngsters from the area to use and enjoy.

The group is now looking for more volunteers to help run the library, and Springboard’s Ann Ramsey said: “Volunteers will be key to helping us get this venture off the ground and making it a success.

“We would love to see anyone interested in a few hours of volunteering, and we would particularly welcome people with disabilities who may be looking for a volunteering opportunity.”
