More than 500 people will celebrate getting their degrees from University Centre Weston (UCW) on Saturday - and people are
being invited to watch the ceremony from a big screen in the Italian Gardens.

UCW’s students will take part in a procession from Knightstone Road to St John’s Church in Lower Church Road where the graduation will take place.

The students and more than 1,500 guests will also celebrate with drinks in the revamped Winter Gardens.

UCW is Weston College’s higher education leg and it offers 45 different degrees.

The college’s principal Dr Paul Phillips said: “Although we will always make sure graduation is focused on celebrating the wonderful successes of our students, we are delighted that people in Weston and all around the world will be able to enjoy the ceremonies.”

People can also watch the graduation on a live stream through UCW’s Facebook page.
