If anyone visited a school in Weston-super-Mare last week, they could have been forgiven for thinking they had travelled back in time.

Pupils at Ashbrooke House School, in Ellenborough Park North, took a step back in time by wearing bonnets, aprons and top hats during a Victorian day.

The year six students dressed up as children would have done more than 100 years ago as part of their history lessons.

They have been studying Victorian England as part of the curriculum, and were given a chance to feel what it would have been like tobe at school during that time.
