n THERE was plenty of volcanic activity at a science workshop held at St Anne’s Primary School in Hewish.
Youngsters were given an insight into volcanoes by postgraduate students from Bristol University. They studied volcanic rocks and minerals with microscopes and were told where the world’s extinct and active volcanoes were located.
