WASTE not want not became these Sidcot School pupils’ new motto as they learned to be vigilant about the amount of food they throw away.
As part of waste week, in association with EDF, youngsters were asked to only put food on their plates at mealtimes which they were confident they could eat to reduce unnecessary leftovers.
Year eight students then put together a display board about waste week, while housekeeping staff collected the previous day’s waste to highlight how much students produced on a daily basis.
