CHILDREN at Locking Primary School got to grips with e-safety while the school was given an award this week.
An assessor from the South West Grid for Learning met with staff, parents, carers and children to find out about the school’s internet safety provision.
The school was given a 360 Degree E-safety mark, which means it is putting maximum effort into safeguarding children.
The assessor also praised the school for its engagement with the community and the coordinators commitment to embedding e-safety in all curriculum areas.
Lead assessor Ron Richards congratulated the school in its success.
Children also practised using new software designed to keep them safe online.
