A host of schoolchildren took to Weston’s biggest stage last week to show off their array of talents.

Students from Windwhistle, Oldmixon, Bournville, Walliscote, and Milton Park primary schools hosted a talent show at The Playhouse, in High Street.

The Trust’s Got Talent event saw 12 acts take to the stage in a show which lasted just over an hour.

Some students sang, while others danced and some even performed gymnastics routines.

It was an opportunity for parents to watch their children in action and give the students a chance to perform on the big stage.

A spokesman for Bournville Primary School said everyone was ‘very proud’ of all the children.

They added: “This is a great experience for them and we must thank everyone at The Playhouse for letting us use the venue.

“They have all done so well to perform as they did.”
