ANIMAL lovers flocked to a wildlife rescue centre to take part in its open weekend and meet some of the new residents.
Secret World Wildlife rescue centre in East Huntspill welcomed crowds of people who wanted to learn more about the work that is done at the centre and the creatures which are cared for.
With the centre displaying baby badgers, fox cubs and hedgehogs, staff introduced families to these new members of Secret World, gave a tour of the centre and offered visitors the chance to meet other feathered friends.
Secret World staff are also busy preparing for their Willows and Romans bike ride around the Somerset Levels on Sunday, to raise cash for their 4.4million Call Of The Wild Appeal to build a new animal hospital and education centre.
