The theme of the event was Come Fly With Me so the school had a Gazelle helicopter cockpit for children to look at and mini hot air balloons.

Visitors could also have a go at winning a balloon flight for two in a raffle, courtesy of Thatchers Cider in Sandford.

Pupils and their families enjoyed a host of games including welly-wanging and pig racing with Cheddar Vale Lions Club.

Animals from Edupets visited the school and children were given the chance to get up close to a number of creatures.
