Year nine students at Broadoak Mathematics and Computing College will try to set an unusual world record.

The Weston students will try to set the record for the highest number of online players in a single game of Kahoot, which is an educational gaming app.

It is often used in classrooms as a fun learning game and on July 12, the students are attempting to organise as many people as they can to take part in a general knowledge quiz on the app between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on the day.

The quiz will be written by Broadoak students who hope to get other schools involved too.

The students will also be raising money for charity at the same time, with all donations going to the charities Heads Together and MIND.
