Nearly 300 primary school pupils from Weston-super-Mare got hands-on with science experiments and exhibits last week.
The Kaleidoscope Multi-Academy Trust, which runs six schools in Weston and Worle, organised a fair for British Science Week, with its 270 year five children taking part.
They were able to have a go at a range of interactive exhibits, looking at different topics in biology, chemistry and physics.
They also participated in an activity with Joanne Richardson from Bleadon, who is the Space Ambassador for the South West.
It took place at St Martin’s Primary School, in Worle, and featured equipment and stands from the University of Bristol. Each school sent six children to run stalls on topics they had learned about which they could teach other pupils about.
