The brainy boffins designed and made models to enter in several categories for the event on April 1.
Jock Simons and Alex Scott won the engineering award for a project on tidal power, while Shelly Richards claimed the investigation prize for a study of how age affects memory.
The ICT award was taken by James Greatorex for an insulation assignment and Kyle Evans and Jay Lippett took the construction trophy for work on a helicopter flight.
