Kittens found in a waste bin at a Worle school are now thriving one year on and have been looked after by staff members and pupils.
Fudge and Rolo are two of the eight cats aged about 10 days old who were discovered in a waste bin on one of the playing fields at Worle Community School Academy (WCSA) last year. After being nurtured back to health by teachers and foster carers, they are thriving.
WCSA staff member Amanda Frost has looked after Fudge and Rolo with her husband Mark and children Matthew and Amy.
Amanda said: "Almost a year after they were born, Fudge, Amy's cat, and Rolo, Matthew's cat, have settled in very well to the Frost household.
"They are happy and healthy cats.
"All the other kittens were happily rehomed, too, and the mum found her home with the kind lady who initially fostered her and the kittens."
