STUDENTS took a step back in time, and across the border, in a trip to Caerphilly Castle.
Year seven pupils at Worle Community School in Redwing Drive had the chance to explore the historic welsh building, during their work on the Middle Ages.
The youngsters searched for clues and examined evidence relating to the defensive features of the castle and got to see some reconstructions of siege engines.
