A WESTON school has won �1,000 worth of sporting equipment after winning the “Get Safe For Summer” campaign.
A WESTON school has won �1,000 worth of sporting equipment after winning the “Get Safe For Summer” campaign.
Worlebury Primary School were the winners of the annual competition, held by Parkwood Community Leisure to promote water safety skills and awareness.
Hutton Moor leisure centre staff visited 25 primary schools in Weston, and talked to around 3,000 pupils.
General Manager Dave Somers said: “We want families to be safe around water no matter where they go, which is why Parkwood Community Leisure have devised this scheme. Congratulations to Worlebury Primary School for winning this fantastic prize.”
