Pupils from Wrington Primary School enjoyed a day of friendly competition and were very successful with its teams finishing in first and third places.

The children taking part were split into two teams and competed alongside 22 other schools in the multi-skilled competition.

Activities were set to test teamwork on the day, which included bowling, throwing and catching games which took place in the sport’s hall at St Katherine’s School in Pill.

A spokesman for Wrington primary praised the pupils for doing so
well.

They said: “I would like to say another massive well done and thank you to the children who competed in the event for their behaviour and camaraderie.

“It was a real pleasure to witness such a fun and challenging day, in which the children all worked so well together.

“I am sure there will be plenty more opportunities across the year for those involved to perform just as well as this group of children did today.”
