A CARE home worker from Yatton has made it into the final of an important competition.
Tracey Park, who works for Consensus in Backwell, will be competing in the national WorldSkills UK caring contest on July 15.
The final, which is organised by the National Skills Academy for Social Care, brings together the highest scoring participants from across the country, who have already demonstrated the high standards of care they provide.
Lead judge Jennifer Bernard said: “It will be so exciting to see how our 10 finalists from all the regional heats perform in a national competition.
“The pressure increases for them as the importance of being able to show their skills in action is even stronger.”
