A GROUP of aspiring writers from Hugh Sexey middle school in Mark have won a competition which will see their work published in a new poetry anthology.
Pupils of the school entered into the Young Writers competition by sending their poetry into the editorial team for consideration.
The book, which their work will appear in, is Poetry Matters 2011, The South, and will be kept at British libraries across the UK, providing a lasting record of their achievements.
Once the book has been published the editorial team will then go on to select the individual and school winner, where a 1,000 prize can be claimed.
