YOUNGSTERS from Milton Park Primary School learnt first hand about the history of firefighting at Weston Fire Station.
Pupils from year two visited the station in Milton Avenue as part of their light up the sky topic, in which they have been learning about the great fire of London, and changes made in firefighting over the years.
They saw modern equipment, learned what to do in the event of a fire and about the importance of smoke detectors, while they also got a chance to use a fire hose.
