Exhibition raises £1,300

A FUNDRAISING evening with a zoo theme was organised by design students in Weston-super-Mare.

Weston College’s degree level design students staged a fundraising print exhibition, with 12 students producing 10 pieces of work to raise money for the Great Western Air Ambulance charity.

Work was also donated by design studios Thirteen, Field Design, Studio 10, and Flipside.

More than £1,300 was raised at the event and the college’s graphic design programme leader Victoria Norcross said: “It was a really successful evening, great atmosphere and lots of guests commenting on the quality of work, and we are very grateful to the design studios for the support they have given to the students for this event, and with placements throughout their degrees.”
