A SEATED stretch and flex class aimed at improving the fitness of the elderly will start in Weston next month.

Age UK Somerset will be putting on the class on February 20 from 1-2pm at Clarence Park Baptist church hall in Walliscote Road.

The charity has stressed the importance of maintaining exercise and flexibility in old age, increasing movement range, prevent thickening of arteries and reduce the risk of injuries, muscle pain and cramps.
