YOUNG people will be able to vote for their favourite candidate at an event next week.
The United Kingdom Youth Parliament elections are taking place.
Election campaigns are currently underway for the North Somerset Youth Parliament group and voting will take place between January 14-26 in schools and youth centres.
There are currently 400 Members of Youth Parliament (MYP). The group was set up in 1999 so young people aged over 11 could have their say on issues affecting them.
The final count will be on January 29 at The Barn, Clevedon. The results will be announced at 8pm.
