WRINGTON'S empty former chemist shop could be turned into an office and storage building.

Wringtons Ltd has applied to change the use of the Silver Street shop, which closed when it moved Wrington Pharmacy to new premises in 2007.

The company owns five pharmacies and says it needs more space to run its business.

North Somerset Council planning officers expect to make a decision on the application by February 5.
