THE Esplanade in Burnham will soon have a major revamp in a new £53,000 project.
A scheme to refurbish seats, plant holders, bins, bollards and chains, benches and lamp posts will cost Sedgemoor District Council £32,000. Another £21,000 was spent on the shelters during the summer.
The council hopes to have the work, scheduled to start on Monday, complete in time for the tourism season in Spring.
