A CHARITY has been handed some essential equipment in memory of a Yatton man.
Representatives from ACL Mobility in Bishopsworth handed over two scooters to Weston Hospicecare's centre in Uphill.
Part of the money for the equipment was raised by friends of Bob Cason, who was cared for by the charity before he died.
They managed to raise £600 towards the cost of a mobility scooter, which are normally priced at £1,300, and the owner of ACL Mobility, Andy Bell, decided to donate the rest of the money for one of the scooters and also donated another one free to the hospice.
