CLAVERHAM residents came together at the weekend for their 'excellent' annual harvest festival.
On Saturday night more than 110 people were treated to a traditional supper at the village hall.
A selection of meats, cheeses and desserts were on offer for diners before settling down to watch local amateur entertainment ranging from poetry to songs from the 1960s.
The money raised will be split between the Harvey Hext appeal and the village’s St Barnabas Church and Free Church.
Five-year-old Harvey and his twin brother Spencer both suffer from Downs Syndrome and Harvey needs to travel to America for cancer treatment.
Organiser Jean Watson said it was hard work but the fantastic night was worth it in the end.
She said: “I have a good team of volunteers who lay up the tables and serve the food. A lot of work goes in to it by the local community.”
