A TREASURE trove of nostalgia will go on display at Worle Community Centre this Friday and Saturday.

Worle History Society has been painstakingly pulling together old maps, photographs and census details to provide a fascinating new exhibition offering an insight to past village life.

School events, carnivals, church functions, former pubs and businesses all feature in the photographic history, while special sections dedicated to World War One and World War Two will also offer a glimpse of times gone by.

Refreshments will be available for visitors, and there will also be a treasure hunt for children to enjoy.

The exhibition will be open at the Lawrence Road centre from 10am-7pm tomorrow (Friday) and from 10am-4pm on Saturday. For more details, visit www.worlehistorysociety.net
