THE Friends of Weston Hospicecare raised more than £2,000 for the charity at its summer fair.
The hospice, based in Uphill, had a selection of stalls on offer for visitors to enjoy, including cream teas, crafts, plants, toys and a raffle.
A total of £2,337.76 was raised at the event by the friends.
Fundraiser Blair Chadwick said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who baked cakes, manned stalls, and donated items for our summer fair.
“We are very fortunate to have so many dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to make events like this so successful.
“It was wonderful to see so many members of the public come through the doors, soak up the atmosphere and donate so generously.
“The £2,337.76 raised could run our day hospice for two whole days.”
