Arena displays will be held at 11am and 1pm on September 28 and 29, while flying shows and a treasure hunt will also feature.

The event is being run by experienced falconer Gary Lawrence, who has worked at the park for the past four years.

He said: “I have been flying various birds of prey for over 30 years, and came here to help raise the profile of falconry at Puxton. We have gone from strength to strength in our daily demonstrations and raising the public’s awareness of the plight of birds of prey in the wild and in captivity.”
