Lighthouse, which organises a number of projects in the town including the foodbank, held the fashion show event at Locking Castle Church in Jasmine Way.

Around £800 was raised on the night for the charity.

People could get 50 per cent off clothes from a number of high street brands, including Next and Top Shop.

Lighthouse’s next major fundraising event will feature musician Hugh Cornwell.

He will perform at St Paul’s Church in Walliscote Road on November 19 at 8pm.

Tickets, priced £22, are available from www.lighthouse-weston.org.uk
