Fashion enthusiasts can pick up some new items for their wardrobes at a fashion show on April 29.

Weston Hospicecare’s Kewstoke and Worlebury Friends Group is hosting its summer fashion show at the Commodore Hotel in Sand Bay from 2-6pm.

Sue Daniel, from the group, said: “We’ve hosted several fashion shows before and we really enjoy surprising people who might not expect to see such high-quality fashion pieces – all of which have come from Weston Hospicecare charity shops.”

The hospice in Uphill provides specialist palliative care to people across North Somerset who are affected by life-limiting illnesses.

Sue Harding, from Weston Hospicecare, said: “We’re so grateful to those who donate such wonderful items to our shops and everyone who helps to make these events a success.

“Without that support and the wonderful efforts from those in our friends groups, we wouldn’t be able to have events such as this, which help fund the care we provide.”

Tickets to the event, which include afternoon tea, are £10 and can be bought from Sue on 07760 377200, or from Chris on 07751 375109.
