A CELEBRATION involving 50 gallons of beer and cider, 20 trifles and a veritable feast of meats, pies and cheese was held in a village at the weekend.
Lympsham held its annual harvest home celebration on the cricket field in Lympsham Road on Saturday.
More than 280 people turned out to help raise about £270 for charity.
Chairman of the harvest home committee, Selena Luff ,said: “It went really, really well and we were lucky with the weather.
“It is important to get the village together and people brought along their friends and family. Some people don’t see one another all year until they meet up at the harvest home.”
