FUTURE fencing Olympians could be in this photograph – according to youth activities organisers who put on a sporting workshop for youngsters on their summer holidays.

The workshop, held at Corpus Christi Primary School, Weston, and organised by the Extended Services programme at Broadoak Mathematics and Computing College saw children try the sport in full fencing gear.

Organiser Xanne Blythe said: “They loved it. The instructor said a lot of students were so good they had a real talent and that they should sign up.”
