A FUND-RAISING group for Weston General Hospital has benefited from success at a nearby village festival.
Organisers of Taste of Somerset donated £500 to The League of Friends of Weston Hospital this month.
The event, which took place in Hutton, featured live music shows and a medieval banquet.
Money donated will add to a cash pot which has already helped the hospital buy a £25,000 machine to remove cancerous cells.
The plasma coagular machine had only been available in Bristol and Taunton.
