YOUNGSTERS from a Somerset school put on a special Christmas concert for elderly residents in Portishead.
The Cantare group from Sidcot School, Winscombe, sang Christmas carols, choral pieces and some old classics as they entertained residents at Pegasus Court retirement home in Brampton Way.
Guests enjoyed a mince pie and a glass of sherry after their performance.
Debbi Hopkinson, from Pegasus Court, said: "The performance by Cantare was amazing. The talent and power they have is incredible - and at such a young age. "Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event, and we hope to welcome the group back in the future.
