A NORTH Somerset councillor has hit out at a supermarket's application to make early deliveries every day.The Sainsbury's store at the North Worle District Centre has asked North Somerset Council for permission to receive deliveries from 8am-5pm on Sundays, with an extra delivery between 5-6.30am from Monday to Saturday.Cllr Andy Wright, who represents the area, said: "I've told the planning officer at the council if he recommends approving the application I'll call it to the west area committee. I think Sainsbury's has misled the residents because it's possible to have reasonable delivery times during the day when it doesn't affect people, but Sainsbury's says it can't do that. I'm in the industry working for a supermarket and I know it can. The houses were there before Sainsbury's. I want to protect the residents from this noise nuisance."Sainsbury's refused to comment on the matter.
