SEDGEMOOR District Council has appointed new contractors to complete the outstanding work at Burnham's Marine Cove Gardens.

The project re-started on October 10 and work will include painting and decorating the north shelter, minor tarmac work to footpath, commissioning of lighting and water features and restocking the pool with fish and water lilies.

It is anticipated the remaining work will be complete in two to three weeks and the official opening date will be released soon.
