THE life of a Wrington campaigner will be the subject of an illustrated talk in Weston next week.
North Somerset Museum in Burlington Street, will host an event about Hannah Moore on October 4 from 7.30pm.
Hannah was an active campaigner in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
She founded a number of North Somerset schools, was passionate about anti-slavery and was an influential writer.
She lived in Wrington for many years and is buried there in All Saint's Church with her four sisters.
The talk will be given by Andrea Button who lectures and teaches around the region.
