FIREFIGHTERS past and present entertained the masses at a fire and fun day in Banwell.
The day was held at Banwell Football Club in Riverside to mark the 125th anniversary of the village’s fire station in East Street on Saturday.
Past firefighters who used to be based at the station helped out in the displays, which included showing people how to tackle chip pan fires, and demonstrating how to cut off car roofs.
There was also a pig roast, a majorettes display, bouncy castle, games, stalls and fire engines on display.
