These pictures show firefighters hard at work after a van caught fire this morning (Monday).
The Ford Transit van, which was located in Station Road, Wrington, was found to be ‘well-alight’ when officers from Avon Fire and Rescue attended the scene at 11.27am.
One crew from Yatton attended the incident – as shown in these pictures, sent in by reader Andrew Tandy – and the cause of the fire is unknown.
A spokesman for the fire service said: “One van was found well-alight and firefighters used two high-pressure hose reels to tackle the fire.
“Crews left the scene just after 12.30pm.”
